Ibim Cookey is a young talented Nigerian artist, he hails from Rivers State, Nigeria. Ibim is also a multi-award winning artist who according to him has been drawing since his childhood, but took his art career seriously in the year 2013.
Several awards won my him includes:

  • MOST ARTIST PERSONALITY IN NIGERIA 2017 (NTCA)
  • YOUNG ARTISTIC PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR 2017 (GCAA)
  • NOMINEE OF MOST CREATIVE PERSONALITY 2018 (NHA) 
  • AMBASSADOR OF ART, RIVERS STATE MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND TOURISM.

"Stop The Shoot" By Ibim Cookey

Ibim's art is basically centered about challenges faced in the society and mostly how it affects children.
His recent artworks titled "Destitute" and "Stop the shoot" gave him greater chances to be featured in the upcoming Coal City Art Exhibition, Enugu, Nigeria, Making him one of the 20 exhibitors selected for the exhibition.
