"Self Discovery" Introspection Series_Uc Wills Odunze Uchechukwu Godswill, popularly known as Uc Wills is a visual artist who expresses himself through the use of pencils on paper, he is primarily concerned with the genre of art called realism with a combinaton of collage. Uc wills was born in Imo state, Nigeria and holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Michael Okpara Universisy of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state. He began to hone his passion for drawing during his days as an undergraduase without no formal knowledge in Arts. In 2018, Uc Wills took part in a group exhibiton at Omenka Gallery, Lagos State. Titled JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY, curated by Mrs. Ronke Akinyele-Bolanle, founder Jade Art. Dreams_Fatola Israel Fatola Israel A.K.A Heavenly Artz is a Lagos based hyper realistic pencil artist who has won several art contests with his realistic drawings. He's a B.Sc. holder in Fine Arts, University of Lagos(UNILAG), Nigeria. His piece titled "Dreams" is one of his outstanding pieces since his art life. According to the statement made by Fatola "My dream is to impact both young and old of this generation and beyond, with aided Visual companions through the emotional truthfulness of my Art. His inspiration behind creating the artwork "Dream" was due to a very tense argument with his friend who called him Akúsèé(in Yoruba language) which means a wretched/poor person. Alexander Peter, a Nigerian artist specialized in wood burning art on his facebook page uploaded the completed stage of his piece titled "CHICANERY" The art was drawn with razor blade on wood & charcoal. Alexander said "This piece is a pure display of societies misfortune. We are being brain washed with lies and our loyalty and struggle bought with hypocrisy. Our rights trampled upon and our future hopes tanished, neglected and dejected after the struggle to enthrone them. Empty promises fill with hopless hopes. They said police are our friends, yet innocents cries daily for justice.
